Ambiki and East Tennessee State University (ETSU) are partnering to provide a graduate assistantship and scholarship to 3 ETSU students in graduate school for speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.

They are:

  • Maya Gonzales, OT student
  • Meagan Delaney, SLP student
  • Trenton Treadway, PT student

These talented Graduate Assistants (GA) will help us create materials for therapy but will also be involved in feature testing and sharing insights about their graduate school experience. As a GA, they will receive a scholarship and access to free therapy materials. Through their work, they will begin to build their clinical perspective and portfolio while they help Ambiki grow. Upon completion of their agreement, they will receive a free account for one year from the completion date of the agreement.

Maya hopes to add useful products to Ambiki allowing it to be a universal, personalized, go-to site for practitioners. She is excited to have this unique work experience developing tools, learning from therapists, and having the external support of Ambiki while going through graduate school.

Meagan wants to advocate for effective intervention that allows kids to be kids. She likes the creative challenge and how Ambiki encourages her to create customizable resources. She finds the work environment to be relaxed and supportive.

When Trenton was a youngster, physical therapy helped him walk following a significant leg injury. He is excited about how teletherapy can help populations that can’t experience in-person therapy. Through therapy, he hopes to give others the same level of care he received as a kid.

This is our second year in a partnership with ETSU. During the 2021 to 2022 school year, we shared an agreement with Sidekick Therapy Partners (our sister company) and ETSU. Through that agreement, we worked with Gabby Romanoski and Alyssa Sadler, who were in their second year of the ETSU SLP graduate program. Gabby and Alyssa are now CFY-SLPs and completing their clinical fellowship year at Sidekick Therapy Partners in Knoxville, TN, and Granville County Public Schools in Oxford, NC. We are grateful for all they did for us and invite you to check out their profiles (Gabby's profile, Alyssa's profile) and the materials they made (Gabby's Resources; Alyssa's Activity Lists).

About Ambiki

Ambiki is brought to you by Ambitious Idea Labs, a team of clinicians and developers who examine the external barriers preventing therapists from delivering the exceptional therapy they want to provide. Our tools help feeding, occupational, physical, and speech therapists:

  • Reduce paperwork and planning time
  • Spend more time with patients

Our small team is ambitious. We know a therapist needs better, integrated tools to handle all aspects of therapy efficiently. The Ambiki team is building a comprehensive foundation to act as a thoughtful guide in helping therapists see the bigger picture.

Ambiki is more than a tool; Ambiki is a way of doing things. Our goal is to help therapists gain deeper insight into all the activities related to a therapy session. We have started with therapy tools, teletherapy, and tools to allow therapists to show off their expertise. Additionally, we are creating comprehensive tools to handle every aspect of therapy, from onboarding patients, to scheduling, billing, and much, much more.
