We're excited to introduce an important update to our patient portal email notifications, enhancing both clarity and functionality. In response to user feedback and to improve the user experience, we have made several key adjustments to the email content:

  1. Email Header Update: The email header has been modified to read: " '[Therapist name]' has requested you sign up to the practice's patient portal." This change is designed to eliminate confusion for parents or users who may not be familiar with Ambiki.
  2. Email Content Revision: We have refined the email content to provide a clear and more accurate message about the benefits of the Ambiki Patient Portal. The revised text now reads: "The Ambiki Patient Portal allows you to keep track of upcoming sessions, view session summaries, and complete intake documentation."
  3. Therapist Face Removal: We have removed the therapist's profile picture from the email. This adjustment ensures compatibility with users who may not have profile pictures uploaded, and respects privacy preferences.
  4. Image Removal: The image has been removed from the email to prevent any potential issues with spam filters. This adjustment ensures that the email reliably reaches its intended recipients.
  5. Password Reset Link: To enhance user convenience, we have included a link at the bottom of the email that allows users to request a new "set your password" link if the one provided in the email has expired.
