What does the Student Membership give me access to? 
The student membership is free to students and professors currently enrolled or teaching at a university. The student membership gives access to our Flexible plan, which includes Teletherapy and all of the therapy tools included in the Essential plan.

Where do I submit my documents in order to verify my student status? 
You can find the Student Membership verification sign up HERE. If you are affiliated with a University Partner, you do not need to submit verification documents. Simply sign up with your edu email. If you are interested in becoming a University Partner or have questions about your university, please email bmorgan@ambiki.com 

Does the professor/student have to be teaching/enrolled in an SLP/PT/OT related field? 
As Ambiki currently only supports speech language pathologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, the Student/Professor access is currently limited to those practicing within the field. 

How does a professor/student prove eligibility for the membership?
You will be required to submit certain information sufficient for us to verify that you are a Qualifying Student. Documents must include your name, valid educational institution, and date the document was issued ("Qualifying Information"). Examples of documentation that may help verify your current status as a student include but are not limited to: a tuition bill, class schedule, loan documentation, student ID. You may be required to submit additional verification documents if Ambiki is unable to verify your student status. Ambiki’s sales team will verify your Qualifying Information based on the documents you submit. We reserve the right to determine if you are a Qualifying Student at our sole discretion. Ambiki will store your name, educational institution name, email address and documents you have provided for verification. 

When does the membership end?  
The membership cycle will end on Dec 31st of the current year and restart January 1st of the following year. Participants will need to re-verify annually and will receive a reminder email in December. 

How long will it take to be verified for the student membership?  
The applicant will be verified within 1-2 business days after submitting their verification document. Ambiki may request additional documentation if unable to verify student status given the originally submitted document. 

How often do I need to prove that I am a student/professor to maintain a membership?  
An applicant will only need to verify their student or educator status once annually during the calendar year.  Memberships run until December 31st of the current year and restart January 1st. 

Is there a limit to how long I can maintain a membership for?  
There is not a limit to how long you can maintain a student/professor membership for as long as you continue to be enrolled at a university and continue to verify your student status annually. 

What are some acceptable forms of verification?  
Tuition bills, class schedules, student IDs. Verification MUST include your name, name of education institution, and date the document was issued to be considered valid. 

What if I am graduating in May - will I have a membership through the rest of the year?  
Yes, you will still be able to use your student membership for the remainder of the year after graduation until your membership expires on December 31st of the current year. 

Is there a way to check when your student membership runs out or needs to be renewed?  
You will receive a reminder when you need to re-verify, however verification will typically need to be complete by January of the following calendar year.  You will be notified if you have not re-verified student status by mid January of the following year.
