In this release, we have added a new smart component for selecting diagnosis codes that can be used on custom forms. This means that any diagnosis code entered into your custom forms will automatically be added to the patient profile.
Additionally, two new organization settings have been added to give more control over diagnosis code workflows:
Additionally, two new organization settings have been added to give more control over diagnosis code workflows:
- Require diagnosis codes from evaluation/re-evaluation - When enabled, any diagnosis codes entered outside of an evaluation or re-evaluation will be marked as "suspected". This ensures codes come from a clinical assessment.
- Lock diagnosis codes after initial evaluation - After an initial evaluation is completed, enabling this setting will require any future diagnosis code changes to come from a re-evaluation. Users will not be able to directly edit the codes outside of a re-evaluation.
We believe this update will provide an intelligent and customizable approach to diagnosis code management.
