In this release, we are excited to introduce several enhancements to the Patient Payment Method Form, designed to make the process of inputting and managing payment methods smoother and more user-friendly. Some key highlights of this release are:

  1. Tooltip Clarity: To provide users with better guidance, we have added tooltips for both the start and end date fields within the Patient Payment Method Form. These tooltips offer clear explanations and improve the overall user experience.
  2. End Date Visibility Logic: We've enhanced the form by hiding the end date field by default, making it visible only when an insurance payment method is selected. 
  3. Start Date Auto-Population: To save time and reduce manual input errors, the start date field will now be pre-populated with today's date by default. 
  4. Stripe Integration Convenience: For organizations that do not yet have a Stripe account set up, and when inputting a private pay payment method, a new 'Connect with Stripe to accept online payments' button will appear within the payment methods form. This feature simplifies the process of setting up online payments and offers a seamless integration with Stripe.
