We are thrilled to announce the introduction of the "Clinical Documentation" section within the "Documents" area of the Patient Portal. This new feature aims to empower patients by providing access to their clinical records, fostering transparency and promoting engagement in their therapy journey.

The Clinical Documentation section will display various types of clinical documents, including Evaluations, Assessments, Plans of Care, Visit Notes, Progress Reports, and Discharge Summaries. Only signed and validated documents will be available for viewing or downloading. Invalidated or deleted documents will not be accessible, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the clinical information shared.

Patients will have the flexibility to view documents directly within the portal or download PDF versions for their records.

This feature will be available only if an organization has enabled it through their EMR settings by activating the "Share clinical documentation through the patient portal" option. By default, this setting will be disabled, allowing organizations to determine if and when they wish to provide this access to their patients.

Thank you for choosing Ambiki.
