We are pleased to announce an update that adds categorization to patient diagnosis codes. Users can now classify diagnosis codes into three categories: "None Specified," "Treatment," or "Medical." This classification provides clarity in clinical documentation by displaying the type of each diagnosis code in parentheses on the patient header and in the patient overview tab. All current patient diagnosis codes in Ambiki will be assigned "None specified".
However, please note that, at this time, the choice of "Treatment" or "Medical" does not impact the diagnosis codes included in billing claims, as all diagnosis codes for a patient will be transmitted regardless of their type.
Thank you for choosing Ambiki. We look forward to bringing you more exciting updates.
