We have implemented a new validation check for NPI (National Provider Identifier) numbers. Previously, the system allowed users to input empty strings as NPI numbers, which could lead to inconsistencies and errors. To address this issue, we have introduced a validation mechanism that checks for empty strings in the NPI number field.
