With this release, the required "start date" field when adding a child's school has been removed. Users can now successfully save a school for a child without entering a start date. Previously, users had to populate the start date input in order to add a school to a child's profile. This created confusion for users who did not yet know the exact enrollment start date. With this update, the school start date is optional. Users can add a school without entering a specific start date, reducing friction when initially setting up a child's school information. The start date can still be added or edited later if desired.
