- I woke up to another day. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. I got out of bed and started my day. I decided to go for a walk. The fresh air felt good. I saw a squirrel and I started to chase it. I ran so fast that I got a stitch in my side. I quickly stopped and caught my breath. As I was catching my breath, I saw my friend Sally on the swings at the nearby playground. She had her dog with her. As I approached her, she also saw the squirrel run up in the tree, and her dog began to bark. We was so close, but couldn't catch it. I laughed with Sally and we went home to grab snacks and lemonade to talk about our adventure.
- Wake up: Take a deep breath and when you exhale, sit up in bed. Swing your legs over the side of the bed and place your feet flat on the floor. Stand up carefully.
