What is Teletherapy Grid layout, Side-by-side video and Spotlight?

Teletherapy offers two participant video layout options: Grid and Side-by-side. The two options can quickly be toggled by the therapist during a session. Viewing all participants in a Grid layout makes each video larger in the middle of the screen, while Side-by-side video mode pins one participant next to the therapist video in the middle of the screen. This provides an effortless way for the therapist to focus directly on an individual as compared to the now large therapist video -- additionally, in a group session, the therapist can Spotlight a specific participant which moves their video to the middle, muting all other participants. All these options are done without ever changing the participants' view.

Grid layout (default setting) allows a therapist to see all the participants in the center of the screen.

Side-by-side video pins one participant next to the therapist video, in the middle of the screen.

Spotlight is only available when the therapist chooses Side-by-side video.

Spotlight mode will allow the therapist and all participants in a Teletherapy group session to focus on one participant at a time, without distractions.  The therapist can easily change which participant is being Spotlighted by hovering over a Participant’s Video and clicking the Spotlight button.
