I Am Working For Board. Token Reward System
Description
I am working for board with 6 stars. Example reward photos included.
Strategies and techniques
*Client chooses reward they are working for. You can add your own reward photos.
*Client earns a star for completing task (i.e. saying word 5 times, completing a color matching activity, sitting for 1 minute, whatever your goal is).
*When client gets all 6 stars, he/she earns the reward!
*Tips: Start with tasks that are easier for the client to complete so they learn the concept of the token reward system. Keep the task time short in the beginning and slowly build up to longer amounts of time.
*Tips: Set a timer for the reward time (so they do not have unlimited reward time).
*Tips: Trade out stars for something the child loves (i.e. favorite character).
*Tips: Trade out stars for a holiday themed item for more vocabulary.
