  • Target speech sounds at syllable level with vowel sounds.
  • Use tactile cueing to trace between the consonants and the vowel sounds (i.e. trace with a finger or toy car).
  • Start with the vowel sound and move backward, targeting VC syllable combinations.
  • Model! You are your client/child's best model!
