How to add Skilled Interventions to a Plan of Care or visit note 


To add a skilled intervention to a patient's plan of care, create a new plan of care ( See our FAQ on how to create a plan of care for step-by-step instructions). 

 

  1. In the Areas of intervention and skilled interventions section, click on the button labelled ‘Add area of intervention’.

2. Select an area of intervention from the dropdown menu and then click on the button labelled ‘Add skilled intervention’.

3. Select a skilled intervention from the dropdown menu.

4. Click on the button labelled ‘Save plan of care’.

To add a skilled intervention to a Visit note, first ensure that you’ve enabled this in your organization settings (See our FAQ for more information). Additionally, skilled interventions will only be available to select if they’ve been added to an active Plan of care first. 

 

Create a new visit note (See our FAQ on how to create a visit note for more information): 

 

  1. If there exists an active plan of care that includes skilled interventions, those interventions will be displayed in the 'Select skilled interventions' section. Select the skilled interventions that apply to add them to the visit note.

2. Click on the button labelled ‘Save visit note’ to finish.
