If the setting has been enabled to allow the parent to confirm an appointment then the event on the schedule will reflect that the appointment has been confirmed.

If the setting has been disabled then the parent will not have an option to confirm the appointment. You are able to customize your message that is sent to the parent indicating that they need to call in order to confirm (more on that setting below).

If the setting has been enabled to allow the parent to cancel an appointment then the event on the schedule will reflect that the appointment has been canceled by the patient. When a parent cancels an appointment a module will appear to enter in a reason for the cancellation. The appointment cancellation will not be possible without a reason.

Customizing your reminder.

We do offer a couple of Default Templates to use that you can customize to suit your business needs.

You are able to add “smart field” text (Dynamic Value) which allows the system to replace items in the curly brackets with the appropriate name and date. Be sure not to accidentally delete a bracket when editing or the smart feature will not work.

There is also an option to schedule when you want your reminder to be sent. If you would like two reminders to be sent (i.e. 24 hrs before the event and another 8 hrs before the event) then you will need to create two reminders with the appropriate timing chosen.

You can also edit or delete any reminder.

Any reminders that are sent for a Teletherapy appointment will automatically include the Teletherapy link if you are registered for that feature through us.

What happens after my Campaign is approved:

Once your campaign is approved you will be notified via email. Once this is complete you are all set to use the feature.

Every patient will be automatically enrolled in sms reminders. The reminder text will be sent to the number marked preferred.

A few things to note here:

- The number on the patient profile that you would like to send the reminder to must be marked as Mobile.
- We currently cannot send reminders to two mobile numbers marked preferred. In the event that there are two numbers marked preferred the text will be sent to the most recently created mobile number.

Each text reminder will provide an opt-out option for the parent if they do not want to receive them. When the parent responds declining reminders, the checkmark to Enable Reminder will be automatically unchecked. Alternatively, the parent will be given verbiage to opt back into the reminders. If they respond to opt in then the box will be automatically checked.
