Intelligibility

(Speech Therapy) Speech intelligibility refers to how well someone can be understood when they're speaking. Speech-Language Pathologists often qualify this by examining the percentage of speech understood in conversation; children age 2 should be understood 50% of the time, age 3 should be understood 75% of the time and age 4 should be understood 100% in conversation with context unknown to a familiar listener.
