About

Hi! 

I'm Eddie and I'm a person who stutters. My passion is working with people who stutter, researching stuttering, and exploring clinical practices to treat the individual as a whole. I am currently a Ph.D. student at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. My primary research focus is neurophysiological differences in people who stutter during speech production tasks. 

Outside of work you can find me mountain biking, rock climbing at the Red River Gorge, backpacking,  playing with my dog Annie, or designing therapy materials for children who stutter.
