Speech-Language Pathologist

I am currently in my 2nd year at Sidekick! I spend most of my time in the Knoxville clinic serving children from a variety of ages. I enjoy working with children with a variety of speech, language, and feeding disorders. My passion area currently includes pediatric feeding disorders, and I have taken several continuing education courses in order to grow my knowledge base in the speciality.

Feeding and swallowing disorders are addressed in a holistic evidence-based framework that considers interrelating systems. Populations range from newborn infants in the NICU through children in school and outpatient based settings. Problem areas include: airway, GI tract, nutrition/hydration, advancing feeding in NICU & beyond, tongue/lip tie, tube feeding & weaning, barriers to oral feeding, and intervention strategies with picky/finicky eaters.
